SASA (Sino Australian Seniors Association)

Longton is passionate in supporting the community and have started SASA (Sino Australian Seniors Association) to focus on the wellbeing of Chinese Australian Seniors. SASA is a non-profit, non-government organisation which was initiated and founded by Longton Capital Pty Ltd in 2012. SASA brings together the resources and people power to provide services and opportunities that enhances the quality of life and is accessible to all.

In our busy life, we don't often pause to appreciate our seniors and there is a growing number of elderly who are becoming disconnected with society. More specifically we are finding that they are struggling with integration within society as their family life becomes more demanding. SASA endeavours to enrich the daily life of senior Chinese who live in Sydney, through social activities to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. These monthly activities are taken out to Sydney Chinese communities to encourage ease of access. Longton encourage the fostering of bonds between older and young people in the community.

SASA offers seniors a variety of activities to enhance their wellbeing by providing recreational & leisure activities, event participation, health seminars and Tai Chi Classes.

  • Tai Chi classes are conducted by a trained professional and held on monthly base. People of all ages and fitness levels can practice Tai Chi.
  • SASA Health seminars are held bi-monthly. Our medical guest speaker introduces a series of senior healthcare topics to maintain your health & wellbeing.
  • Voice of SASA (singing competition) creates the opportunity for seniors to make new friendships and networks.
